Right of Withdrawal (Herroepingsrecht)

14-Day Return Period

As a consumer in the European Union, you have the right to return goods within 14 days of receiving them, without giving any reason. This withdrawal period starts from the day you or a third party designated by you (other than the carrier) takes physical possession of the goods.

During this period, you may examine the product in the same way you would in a physical store. You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods.

Exemptions from Right of Withdrawal

The right of withdrawal does not apply to the following items:

  • Perishable goods or goods with a short shelf life
  • Custom-made or personalized items
  • Digital content once accessed or downloaded
  • Hygiene-sensitive products once unsealed (cosmetics, underwear, etc.)
  • Newspapers, magazines, or other periodicals
  • Goods that deteriorate rapidly or have passed their expiry date

How to Return an Item

Important: ComBuy Platform Process

ComBuy operates as a platform connecting consumers with suppliers. When you initiate a return:

  • • Returns are reported to ComBuy but sent directly to the supplier who sold the product
  • • ComBuy registers your return and tracks the process for payment handling
  • • The supplier notifies ComBuy when the return is received and processed
  • • All refunds are processed immediately through your original payment method

Step 2: Return Authorization

We'll provide you with a return authorization number and return instructions.

Step 3: Package & Ship

Pack the item securely in its original packaging and ship to our return address.

Step 4: Refund Processing

Once the supplier receives and confirms your return, ComBuy will process your refund immediately through your original payment method within 14 days. This ensures fast and secure refund processing.

Credit Loss Policy

Credit Loss Consequences:

  • Early Buyer Credits: Deleted when exiting deals or returning items
  • Referral Credits: Lost when returning items or exiting deals, regardless of whether you or your friend returns or exits
  • Team Up Credits: Lost when returning items or exiting deals, regardless of whether you or your friend returns or exits
  • 2-Month Protection Period: Credits are subject to a 2-month protection period before unlocking for use

Shipping Cost Refund Policy

Original Shipping Refunds

  • Standard shipping: Fully refundable
  • Express shipping: Non-refundable (unless item is faulty)
  • Free shipping deals: No shipping cost to refund
  • Threshold shipping: Refunded based on original qualification

Return Shipping Costs

  • Set by suppliers: Varies by product and supplier
  • Usually buyer pays: Unless item is faulty
  • Size/weight dependent: Larger items cost more
  • Clearly displayed: Shown before return confirmation

Refund Amount Calculation

Your refund includes the product price and applicable shipping costs, minus any return shipping fees:

Refund Method & Timing

All refunds are processed immediately through your original payment method to ensure secure and fast processing. Refunds will be processed within 14 days of receiving your returned item. The time it takes for the refund to appear in your account depends on your payment provider.

Damaged or Faulty Items

If you receive a damaged, faulty, or incorrectly described item, you have additional rights under EU consumer law:

  • Free replacement or repair within a reasonable time
  • Full refund if replacement or repair is not possible
  • We cover all return shipping costs for faulty items
  • All original shipping costs (including express) are refunded for faulty items
  • 2-year legal guarantee on all products
